How is plaster of paris chemically different from gypsum? how may these be inter converted? write one use of plaster of paris?

plaster of parris made from gypsum
when gypsum is heated then pop is formed
it is used in designing on walls

When gypsum is heated, it loses water molecules to form PoP (Plaster of  Paris)

Gypsum is represented by the formula 

PoP is represented by the formula 

When PoP is mixed with water, it once again changes to gypsum.
