How is plaster of Paris chemically different from gypsum? How can they be intervonverted?

hey mate here is ur ans
plaster of paris is calcium sulfate hemihydrated
(CaSO4.1/2 H2O)
whereas gypsum is dihydrated calcium sulfate
gypsum hardens into plaster of paris When water is evaporated or it is dehydrated
