How is plaster of paris chemically different from gypsum? how may they be interconverted?

Plaster of Paris-CaSO4.1/2H2O............................... Gypsum-CaSO4.2H2O.......................................................... On heating gypsum plaster of Paris is formed and on adding water to plaster of Paris, it changes to gypsum again
