How is plaster of Paris chemically different from gypsum? how may these be inter converted? write one use of plaster of Paris?

plaster of Paris differs by gypsum with 1½ molecules of water.if we add water to plaster of Paris it converts into gypsum.if we dehydrate gypsum we get plaster of Paris
