HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:-

Plaster of Paris is obtained by heating gypsum at 393K.

CaSO4.2H2O-----> CaSO4.1/2H2O + 3/2 H2O

When plaster of Paris sets, it gets converted into gypsum.

CaSO4.1/2H2O+ 3/2H2O ----> CaSO4.2H2O

plaster of paris is obtained by heating of gypsum at 393 Kelvin and during the setting up of plaster of paris it against converted into Gypsm
