Plaster of Paris is Prepared by Heating Gypsum (Hydrated Calcium Sulphate with 2 molecules of water of crystallization) at 100°C or 373K then we get Plaster of Paris (Calcium Sulphate hemihydrate which has 1/2 molecules of water of crystallization)
Uses:
1) Used in making Toys
2) Interior Designing of Homes
3) By Doctors for supporting Fractured bone to keep it at right place

by heating CaSO4.2H2O forms CaSO4.half H2O placing bones in right place used by doctors also used for smoothening of walls
