A poem is quite different from from a story.
A story has a well beginning, a creative ending, and description of the subject in other forms of the specific language. A story gives us a clear idea about the thoughts and feelings of the writer. It sometimes has a moral, an adventure, humour, wit or feelings about something.
A poem does not has a specific beginning, but has a colourful ending either happy, or sad. Poem is the way to express our feelings in a short description through creative formation of sentences, vivid thoughts and most importantly rhyming phrases which improve the quality of poem. It gives us a clear idea of the poet's message or feelings.

the poem is different from story because in poem we imagine our views but in story we assume things both are very different from each other.
