There are some harmful gases formed by fossil fuel etc .when it rains these harmful gases mix with rain and come down as rain it is called acidic rain

this is happening because of the 'acid rain'. rain mixed with sulphuric acid is called 'acid rain'. it damages building and corrodes metal structures.the taj mahal is continuously losing it's white lustre and getting discolored. scientists blame pollution from local foundries and the oil refinery at mathura for this.
