How is pop different from gypsum

POP also called as plaster of Paris has the molecular formula CaSo4.1/2H2O
Where as gypsum has the molecular formula
CaSo4.2H2O

POP is used in making gypsum...
CaSo4.1/2H2O+3/2H2O=CaSo4.2H2O

gypsum is heated over 373k or 100C to form pop which is used by doctors
