How is possible to 60×5/18=16.7.but it's ans. Is 16.6

Considering BODMAS,

5/18=0.2777..

and 60x0.2777=16.666..

Since this 6 after decimal never ends, to have an appropriate value for the calculation, we have to round those sixes into 7, to get an approximate value.

That means, if the number which repeats after the decimal is less than 5, we avoids it and writes the same value. For example, if we consider the number 16.333.., we avoids the repetition of 3 after the decimal, and approximates the value to be 16.3.

If the number which repeats after the decimal is greater than or equal to 5, we rounds it to the next value. For example, this question itself, we rounded (or approximated) 16.666.. to 16.7, as 6 is greater than 5. That's why the answer is 16.7
