poverty is directly proportional to inequality. because ir there is poverty inequality obviously exists. the rich become richer and the poor become poorer. this causes inequality. hence, poverty is related to inequality.

Answer:

When poverty rises on its own, so does inequality.

Explanation:

  • Poverty is intrinsically connected to inequality.
  • When we talk about income inequality, we're talking about a disparity in household income.
  • For example, globalization redistributed income in such a way that the poor got poorer and the rich got richer, and whenever this happens, household income inequalities widen, and poverty rises.
  • Similarly, if poverty rises on its own, inequality rises as well.
  • As a result, we can conclude that poverty and inequality are linked.
