Many social scientists view poverty from many aspects or parameters;i.e illiteracy,lack of general resistance due to malnutrition,lack of access to safe drinking water and sanitation.

usually it is seen through consumption and income level but now they also use factors like illiteracy level, lack of general ressistance ,lack of job opportunities etc.
