Thrust is the total force acting perpendicular to a surface and it’s measuring unit is Newton.

Whereas, the force acting on a unit area is called a pressure.

The basic difference between the two of them is of the direction of the force.

The velocity of thrust and force are in opposite directions and they are a vector.
