POLLINATION is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther of a stamen to the stigma of a carpel. These are transferred by agents such as insects, birds, winds or water.
Whereas, Fertilisation is defined as the fusion of a male and a female gamete to form a zygote by Sexual reproduction.
