High compressibility of gases is useful in following situations:-

1. Due to the high compressibility, large volume of gas can be compressed into a small cylinder and transported easily.
2. On compressing, petroleum gas liquefies to form Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG).
3. Oxygen cylinders in the hospitals have compressed oxygen gas filled in it.
4. CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) which we use as a fuel in vehicles and at home is a natural gas methane which is compressed for easier transportation.
