as the population increases, job oppurtunities decrease .So the bread-earners of the family can't feed their children , can't provide a shelter and misery increases. This results in nutrient-deficiency causing ultimate dreadful poverty.

Over population is believed to be the prominent cause of poverty. At the end of 2016 it has been calculated that there are nearly seven billion people on the earth and adding up constantly.

Apart from climate changes that caused by over population it is the main cause of Poverty. Over population will result in demand in land, resources, opportunities, food and shelter.

If opportunity reduces eventually there will be a reduction in population who has a job. If there is no job eventually it will lead to lack of income and result in poverty.
