Reproduction is achieved from a single cell type, if the organism itself consists of many cell types because each cell that reproduces has a similar DNA in an organism.
- As a result of asexual reproduction, a single cell type will form daughter cells which are exactly similar to the parent cell.
- As each cell type produces daughter cells exactly like it hence each cell type is able to replicate.
- In sexual reproduction, all the cells of the body share the same DNA and hence reproduction is possible as each cell needs to have the same DNA in it.
