Respiration is a biochemical process which includes inhalation ,utilization of oxygen to oxidize food and exhalation.
While breathing is a muscular or mechanical process of simply taking in air (containing more Oxygen and less carbon dioxide) and giving out air (containing more carbon dioxide and less Oxygen).
Respiration includes breathing but not vice-versa.
