Respiration is a voluntary physical process which involves the inhaling and exhaling of our, involving the intake of oxygen and removing carbon dioxide from our body.

Whereas, Respiration is a chemical process which isn't in human control and this process involves the release of chemical energy stored in form of food along with ATP's and carbon dioxide and water.

Aerobic Respiration : Aerobic respiration involves oxygen in it during the breakdown of food in chemical energy or ATP.

Anaerobic Respiration : The process of anaerobic respiration occurs in the absence or when less oxygen is present.
