To make energy, plants use photosynthesis. Animals, on the other hand, make energy through cellular respiration. These two processes are opposites.

Explanation:

Photosynthesis is the process that a plant uses to convert Carbon Dioxide and Water into Sugar and Oxygen, through the use of sunlight energy.

Cellular respiration is a process in which animals convert sugar and oxygen into carbon dioxide, energy, and water. Cellular respiration is divided into the steps Glycolysis, Krebs Cycle, and the Electron Transport Chain, which produce 2 ATP, 2 ATP, and 32 ATP, respectively.

MARYSTELLA: Cellular respiration is going on in every cell in both animals and plants. Note that: 1 molecule of glucose plus 6 molecules of oxygen are changed into about 36 molecules of ATP (energy) plus 6 molecules of water and 6 molecules of carbon dioxide during cellular respiration

Plants breathe through pores in their leaves called stomata.plants use photosynthesis.
Whereas animals make energy through cellular respiration.
Animals breathe through lungs.Respiration of animals in an active process of inhaling Oxygen and exhaling carbindioxide using muscular movements and energy.
Plants take in carbindioxide and give out Oxygen whereas animals take in Oxygen and give out carbondioxide .
Hope it helps:)
