How is rolling friction different from sliding friction

Hey bro,

in case of rolling friction the cantect between ground and object is continuously changing,,
while,
in case of sliding friction the contract between ground and object is same at all time..

as a result we can conclude that rolling friction<sliding friction..

as more energy to be applied to the object to make it move....

E.g - Rolling of ball or wheel on the ground .

♥ Sliding friction is the restriction on the body’s movement as only one side of the body is in contact with the surface .

E.g - Pushing a box across the table .
