secularism means a state with no official language and it does not follow any caste or religion. it remains neutral in all caste practices.
India is a secular country. it does not follow any one language. Hindi is the official language and there are 22 other language. thus we can say that India is a secular country.

Secularism means that equal treat of all religion
In this way Indian constitution makes India a secular state---
*The constitution provides freedom to all protest ,practice and propagate any religion
*The constitution prohibits discrimination on ground of religion.
* The constitution allows state to intervene in the matters of religion in order to ensure equality within religious community.
