☆ When the anther mature , they burst and release the pollen grain , which get transfered to stigna for fertilization. This process is called pollination. Pollination are of two type - self pollination and cross - pollination.
SELF POLLINATION
☆ When pollen from the anther get transfferd to stigma of same flower it is called self pollination. Self pollination occur in stamen and carpel mature at the same time. It occur in only bisexual plants.
CROSS POLLINATION
☆ When the pollen from anther to stigma of one flower get transffered to stigma of another flower of same plant or another plant of same kind it is called cross pollination . It can take place in both bisexual and unisexual flowers.
