XX represents female and XY repersents male

Human beings have two pairs of chromosomes. Male has 22+X and 22+Y where as females have a pair of 22+X chromosomes. If X chromosome reproduces with Y chromosome male child is born and if X chromosome reproduces with X chromosome female child is born.
