Explanation: somatic cells in human beings contain 23 pairs of chromosomes. Which are named as X and y chromosomes.xxiii pair contains one X and y one y chromosomes in a mail on the other hand xxiii Prerna female contains X chromosomes this means that all the eggs wood have X chromosome as xxiii chromosome while a sperm may have idea X aur y chromosome as a 23rd chromosome. When sperm with X chromosome fertilizes the egg the resulting zygote develops into a female child when a sperm with y chromosome fertilizers the egg the resulting zygote would develop into a male child.
