The sex ratio is ratio of males to females in a population ..

sex ratio =no. of males/no. of females ×100

hope it will help u

In India many states have the lowest sex ratio is Haryana and Union Territory with lowest sex ratio is Daman and Diu . Reasons for lowest sex ratio are:

a. High rate of female foeticide, more preference for male child. .

b. Discrimination against women, high rate of crime against women in states like Haryana.

c. Less education , preference for male education.

d. Increased Malnutrition among females.

e. Gendered mind set of the society.

f. Lack of awareness.
