Mostly forest people are used to practising shifting cultivation & therefore resulting it to a global phenomenon.The tribal communities of the forests generally practice this as also some pastoralists communities who do not have access to modern cultivation methods.Hence,this result due those who live around such environment do not have permanent land holdings.Hence,this results to shifting cultivation becoming a more feasible & convenient method of growing their crops.
