Explanation:

A simile is used to compare one thing with another thing of different kind whereas metaphor is applied to an object which is not literally applicable.

Personification is a figure of speech in which an object or idea has been given human attributes.

Hope this helps!! :)

Answer:

That's really confusing but you can seek help from this:

  • Similes use words like "as" and "like" to compare. Example:

She was just like an angel.

She was as kind as an angel.

» Here, she is being compared to an angel. The words "like" and "as ____ as" also indicate to that point.

  • Metaphors are used when a thing is being described to a thing which has the same qualities but or else it is unrelated to the thing being talked about. Example:

She was an angel.

  • Personification is used when we personify or humanize an object which is non living. Like:

All of a sudden, the radio started screaming in irritation.

» Here, of course a radio cannot scream! Therefore, it is being personified. We are personifying a thing which is non living.

HOPE HELPS! ;)
