the inner lining of the small intestine has numerous villy which increase the surface area for absorption the villy are richly supplied with blood vessels which take the absorb food to each nd every cell of the body.

the inner walls of small intestine have tiny projections called Villi.. these are tape like in ileum, finger like in jejunum , and leaf like in doudenum
these Villi are richly supplied with blood capillaries that absorb all the necessary material from food ..the vast network of capillaries help in transport of food in all parts of body
