the wall of small intestine are covered with finger like extensions called  VILLI(plural). each villus (singular) has microvilli  that help in absorption of food material by increasing the surface area.  these villi are richly supplied by blood vessels , as the nutrients were get diffused to these vessels  and transferred through out the whole body in order to repairment of old tissues and for other metabolic activities.

      when fat reach duodenum  the the large fat globules were get break into smaller fat globules by the action of bile juice , this process is called as emulsification of fat . then, when these smaller fat globules reach ileum of  small intestine then  the walls of ileum  secret intestinal juice that is succus entericus that finally convert these fat globules into fatty acid and glycerol. in this way the digestion of fat get completed .
