Answer:

As seen from earth ,a solar eclipse occurs when the moon is directly between earth and the Sun . This makes the moon fully or partly cover the sun . Solar eclipse can only happen during a new moon .

Answer:

sometimes when the moon orbits Earth,it moves between the sun and the Earth.when this happens, the moon blocks the light of the sun from reaching earth.this causes an eclipse of the sun,or solar eclipse.during solar eclipse, the moon casts a shadow onto earth.
