Solar Energy is better than thermal power because it is eco-friendly. We have abundant amount of solar rays which can be converted into solar energy through solar cells. In order to prevent the depletion of non-renewable resources, we should use solar energy which is an inexhaustible resource. On the other hand thermal energy is exhaustible and cause pollution.
