SONAR IS A TECHNIQUE USED TO MEASURE DEPTH OF THE SEABED . IT USES A DEVICE CALLED TRANSDUCER THAT SENDS SOUND IMPULSES AND THEN THE SOUND IMPULSES REFLECTED BACK FROM SURFACE OF SEABED . THEN IT FINDS HOW LONG IT TAKES TO HIT THE SURFACE OF SEABED AND BOUCE BACK . THIS WAY IT CALCULATE THE DEPTH OF SEABED.
