When a thing vibrates, it produces sound. The loudness and pitch depends on material which is vibrating.
For eg, when we pluck a guitar string, it is not very loud,because the string is extremely thin
On the other hand, if we shout, the sound is very loud because our vocal chords vibrate, and vocal chords are broader and bigger than a guitar string
