Process of monsoon creation

The mechanism affecting the monsoon is that the westerly jet causes high pressure over northern parts of the subcontinent during the winter. This results in the north-to-south flow of the winds in the form of the northeast monsoon.

N.E.-They blow from north-east to south-west from the month of Dec., Jan. and Feb.
