how is space expanding more than speed of light

Because for something to go faster-than-light, it needs to have a speed inherent to it: something you can measure in, for example, kilometers per second. But that's not how theUniverse expands at all. At greater distances and earlier times in the Universe, it wasexpanding more rapidly.
