How is spherical mirror used to converge light at a point?

Heya!

A concave mirror, has a reflecting surface that bulges inward.

When the light coming parallel to the principal axis falls on the buldged in surface (shiny or polished surface) ,the light rays gets deflected at a single point and that point is known as focus.
