Answer:

What is standard time? What is the use of it?

By convention most of today's countries follow a convention that essentially divides the world into 24 designed time zones. representing the 24 hours of a day. ll the clocks within a particular time zone is set to the same time - the standard time - as compared to each clock set to ‘solar time’.

Standard time helps to avoid anomalies such as arriving at your destination ‘before’ you started your trip. Planning events becomes much simpler if everyone agrees to a standard time. Imagine the chaos of a televised event where everybody has their clocks set to a different time. It is confusing enough to have time zone differences.

Answer: Standard time is useful as if in large countries we follow different time for different regions , it will become very hard for us to maintain jobs and services which are done at national level and keeping record wouldn't be easy, So its more convenient to follow a standard time rather than having different time for different regions and the different between local time and standard time isn't much.
