The sun is our caring friend because it caters to our needs and is the main source of energy on Earth.

It maintains the temperature on Earth, helps plants to perform photosynthesis by providing energy in the form of photons, helps in the synthesis of vitamin D in humans( which maintains the metabolic systems), and also provides light during the day as well as night( by reflecting off the moon).
