answer is:

the present composition of sun is about 71%hydrogen,27%helium and 2% other elements by mass.

the reaction due to changes in composition slowly over time and convert hydrogen to helium liberating a huge amount of heat and light and this light is called sunlight and thus, sunlight is formed.
