Tetanus is spread by Clostridium Tetani .

Mode of transmission is :

Direct entry of pathogen into the wound from street dust.

Symptoms are :

Painfull contradictions of muscles of neck and jaws followed by Paralysis of Thoracic muscles.

Tetanus is a bacterial infection effecting nervous system of the individual.

In this particular disease the muscles are destroyed causing severe pain some times leading to death.

Tetanus is also called lock jaw.

It majorly affects jaw and neck muscles.

The bacteria causing tetanus is mostly present in soil. it enters humans through wounds or cuts on skin.

it is spread from person to person.
