The pupil dilates in the dark in order to allow more light and it contracts in the bright in order to restrict more light. You can observe this phenomenon in your own eyes by flashing light on your eyes in front of a mirror.

Answer:

The pupils of the eye increase or decrease in size based on the amount of light that enters the eye . If too much light enters , the pupils decrease in size and vice versa .

Hope it helped and please mark as brainliest:)
