in humans urine is composition of wate( 90-95%) , salts (2-5%)and uric acid (0.2-0.4%) . if we drink more water then amount of urine increase and if we drink less water then amount of urine is decreases this process is called OSMOREGULATION. all this functions is controlled by ADH hormone or vasoprressin and also by sweating ( the more you work the more salt and fat remove from your body ) .

The amount of urine produced is regulated by the urinary system or the renal system.

The renal system consists of the Kidney, nephron, urinary bladder and the urethra. The "functional unit" of the "kidney is" the nephron. The "nephron consists" leads to the "proximal convoluted tubule", Henley's loop and the "distal convoluted tubule".

All these together help in the regulation of reabsorption of water into the system, which in turn decides the amount of urine produced.
