in modern periodic table atomic number is the periodic function of the elements it means that if the elements are arranged in the increasing order of their atomic number then the elements having same chemical properties will occur at regular intervals.

atomic no. related to modern periodic is table is when we go left of right in a period the atomic no.goes on increasing it increases by one unit at a time....
