Answer:

Two common methods of disposing of hospital-generated medical waste include incineration or autoclaving. Incineration is a process that burns medical waste in a controlled environment. ... Autoclaving is commonly used in hospital environments to sterilize medical tools and equipment. It's also widely used for sharps

Solution :-

Ways to dispose Bio Hazardous wastes ::

» Incineration :

In this method the bio hazardous wastes are burnt down completely by the use of shocks and heat to turn them into ashes. This decays their radioactive nature and hence makes their disposal safe. Also this method is free from radiation thus doesn't poses any threat to the lifes of the one's who do it. It is done by machine.

» Burying them deep underground :

One way to demolish the biohazardous waste from hospital is that by burying them underground below some kilometres. In this method, a deep pit is opened in the ground which is below some kilometres of Earth's surface. There the wastes are burried. This causes their disposal safe and free from radiation. Also it then doesn't cause harm to any organism.

» Burying them deep under sea bed :

Biohazardous wastes can be burried under sea beds. This doesn't makes them leak radiation and cause harm. The substances present in the sea bed is a good absorber of radiations. If at all these wastes leak radiations then, these materials can absorb it. Neither they will pose threat to lives of anyóne.

Precautions to be taken while their disposal ::

» No physical contact from wastes :

These waste are harmful and toxic in nature. So if they come in contact with the body of any organism, they can páss on diseases like tetnus, rabies, and other infections. Also these can transfer diseases which were present in the patient who were treated with those things.

» No air contact with wastes :

These wastes produce foul smell and radiations when they start decaying. The require proper safety equipments like gloves and masks to be worn when they are being disposed. If anyóne comes in contact with those smells, they can face situations like unconsciousness, vommiting, etc.

» No disposal in open environment :

When these wastes are disposed in open environment, they can cause air pollute by their smell. Also they can make the environment dirty and transfer infections in nearby water sources and land sources which can eventually get into bodies of humans. Also the radiation produced by them is very harmful and toxic. Thus they must be disposed off properly in a closed and specific place not in the place common to human beings.

Some keywords :-

>> Bio - hazardous waste : These waste come from the bio clinics and hospitals that are produced by treatment of other bodies.

>> Sea Bed : This is the most bottom place of the sea where there is land and the sea water is above that land.

>> Radiations : Chemical reactions that are produced from the decay of the radioactive things.

>> Incinerator : It is the machine that causes Incineration of the bio hazardous wastes.

>> Disposal : This means the disposing off of the waste products or letting them decay so that they can be reduced in simpler forms.
