In the story " the triumph of surgery" , penned by DR. Harriot. Dr Harriot was an animal specialist and was well aware of the psychology of animals and health. There was a character of named Mrs. Pumphrey. Mrs. Pumphrey was a rich lady with a dog named tricki. Tricki was just too loved by mr. Pumphrey that he was now became a fat , unhealthy dog who was not even able to walk properly. Mrs. Pumphrey has given him too many comforts that he was now over weight.

Later, when doctor Harriot pointed out the health of tricki and advised mrs pumphrey to reduce his daily meal and change diet , the condition of dog turned to worst. This happened because of mrs. Pumphrey's attitude towards her dog.

From these examples of mrs. Phumphrey's character , we can infer that pumphrey was an example of such women in today's society who do bad to someone on calling of doing good. Her doing good result in bad in the dog's health. She is just similar to one of today's society like this.
