Your question contains a subtle mindset that China is not democratic, HK is becoming less democratic and eventually would have no democracy, China has a ulterior sinister motive (not democratic).

I lives in HK and frankly I am happy living here. No issue of democracy. The issue of democracy often raised are those opposition who wants to negate China’s sovereignity over HK, wants to turn HK into a quasi-independent entity. Such is not allowed in any country (the recent event in Spain shows that).

There is no perfect democracy and there is no perfect political system every country has to follow and there is no justifiable reason for anyone to criticse other countries just because their system is different. There are many types of democracy. The western style of democracy by votes is not perfect nor does it bring good to many western countries. China practices democracy by consensus. The achievement of China amply tells that the system in China works best for them, incl HK SAR and Macau SAR.

Have anyone criticise Saudi political system? Indian political system? etc. I would suggest that you read more widely and deeply and look at things objectively and without political bias.

Plz it as brainliest ✌️
