The brook passes through many hills, ridges, gardens and valleys. It proceeds on its journey with great force. So it carries many flowers, ferns, pebbles, weeds with its flow. Many times colourful fish like the trout or the grayling can be seen floating in it.

Some of the fields described in the poem are fertile and are used for cultivation while some are fallow i.e left uncultivated to regain its fertility.
