How is the Constitutional Monarchy of U.K. different from the Constitutional Federation of the U.A.E.? please help.....

Constitutional Monarchy of U.K.

1. The British monarch is a ceremonial head.

2. The Prime Minister, the British Parliament and the Government exercise their powers on behalf of the monarch. Formally the monarch possesses the powers.

3. Before accepting a significant public office a person has to swear an oath of allegiance to the monarch.

4. The monarch has to act on the advice of the Government. 


Constitutional Federation of the U.A.E.

1. It has a framework of federal, presidential and absolute monarchy.

2. The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven constituent monarchies. They are the Emirates of Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm al-Quwain.

3. The ruler of Abu Dhabi is the President of the U.A.E. and the head of the state.

4. The ruler of Dubai is the Prime Minister of the U.A.E. and the head of the government.

5. The Federal Supreme Council comprises of the individual rulers of the seven emirates.
