Hey friend here is your answer....

The valency of Xe (xenon) is +4 and the valency of fluorine (F) is -1. So the compound formed by xenon and fluorine .i.e. xenon fluorine is written as XeF4.

Note: While the formation of compounds, the valency of the positive radical becomes the subscript of the negative radical and vice- versa.
